Living in the woods of the East, it’s easy to get lost in the density of trees, the enveloping nature of the landscape and the pace of the culture here. I have grown to love and thrive on all these facets of life on the East Coast –\u00a0 but have found relief and perspective in the stark quality of the landscape and the more relaxed pace of life in Taos, New Mexico. As a painter, the clarity of the light is magic and the scales of the landscape and give me needed perspective and humility. Besides, it’s beautiful, soulful and a great place to spend time alone or with family.<\/p>\n
